Earthquakes are very unexpected and cannot be detected, whether they're going to occur or not, so in the event of a sudden earthquake, what would you do? If you don’t, then do not worry! In this game, we are going to teach you what to do before, during, and after an earthquake and what to prepare. Every day, an earthquake happens all around the globe. People can never be too prepared, and that’s why we must drill into our minds on how we are to act when it occurs, but we can't just do earthquake drills every day, right? So, why not practice it virtually? Introducing “Ang Pag Lindol" a survival retro game made by grade 8 Jeremiah group 3, made in mBlock, inspired by Lauren Tarshis book "I Survived the San Francisco Earthquake, 1906" where our main protagonist is a student of Capitol Hills Christian School. A cute, pixelated, mini Capitolian. This is a simple and fun activity to help students understand structural techniques when dealing with earthquakes. All you need to do is select the most ideal and accurate hiding area. You have three hearts, and you will forfeit one if you select the incorrect location. You lose when you have lost all of your hearts. A bonus round can be unlocked if you've found every hidden key in the map, and the timer is level-based! The game helps educate students before, during, and after an earthquake so that they’ll be prepared for any upcoming earthquakes and they’ll know what to do to not get hurt or injured in future earthquakes.
操作说明:
GAME MECHANICS LEVEL 1 1. You start in the house of the character. Instructions will pop up, and you must do your best to follow them. 2. When the earthquake happens, click the table to hide under it. If you click on the vase, you will find a key. When going to the table, be sure to avoid the falling shards when the earthquake occurs. 3. Survive till the timer ends. LEVEL 2 1. Answer the MATH question (true or false) at the start of the game. 2. To hide behind the table when the bell sounds, you must click on it. 3. Additionally, you must click on the evacuation map in order to flee when the siren sounds. Choose whether to head to the court, the classroom, or the restroom based on the evacuation map. To go to the destination, you must click multiple times. You will lose heart if you click in the classroom or the restroom. 4. When you get to the court, another person will sneeze. You have to click the button several times to cover your face with a face mask so as not to spread the infection to other people. 5. After that, you can pick someone to call. It’s either a security guard, a nurse, or a student. LEVEL 3 1. You will volunteer to give food and clothes to refugees. It doesn’t have lives; it has a deduction system. 2. At the evacuation center, you have to serve food based on the preferences of the refugees. 3. The people will have specific preferences. If you give them the wrong food, you will lose points by -10. And if you give them the right food, you will gain 10 points. You have to do this until the 30-second timer ends. 4. If you get a total of 50 points, you get 3 stars, 30-49 points, 2 stars, 10-29 points, 1 star. MINI GAME After you obtain all the keys you will unlock a mini-game. 1. You have to click the space bar to jump and avoid the cracks. 2. After going to 4 different places, you will finally reach the birthday party of the character’s classmate.
