This is a Weather Pod. The invention was made from KK Weather, a group consisting of 2 students. The Weather Pod was made to improve health, with our first step, weather and air pollution. The reason and inspiration for this invention is Global Warming and Viruses. The world right now is suffering from the new virus: Corona. But, it is estimated that around 290,000 to 650,000 humans are killed globally per year due to colds and flu. These Viruses spread very quickly during season changes. And because of global warming, it is almost impossible to know what will be coming next. Air Pollution is another problem connected to Global Warming. Families would move around cities to try to find places with lower air pollution levels, but it is very stressful and painful always moving, especially when you have kids. In Korea, our country, Air Pollution is a very big problem as it is a big city with lots of tall buildings being constructed. These problems impact a big part in a child’s life and comfort. Due to this, we have decided on our first invention. This invention has the ability to identify the weather, temperature and air pollution levels. Secondly, it can also recommend different things such as clothing and if the user should be indoors or outdoors. Lastly, range alarms would be installed to know if the user is indoors or outdoors. Our main goal is to improve the comfort, health and speed for the user.
